NT NFP Forum 2020

Due to the impact of COVID-19 we advise that the NT NFP Forum, jointly presented by FIA SA/NT and Volunteering NT, will be postponed after the steering committee completed a Secure NT risk assessment for smaller gatherings. The new date is 13 October 2020 (Masterclass on 14 October) at Harry’s Place. All current registrations for the NT NFP Forum are valid and will be held over to the new date. If you are not able to attend, please email training@fia.org.au

We are all very committed to bringing this one-day event and masterclass to the Northern Territory and hope to see you in October. Thank you for your understanding.

The 2020 NT Forum has been developed to provide you with a sample of great work undertaken by ‘for purpose’ organisations and fundraisers, with demonstrated experience from the Northern Territory and other states.

A variety of talented speakers will present on a range of subjects that are topical to the ever changing and evolving needs of our sector. In 2020 we have expanded our offering to include two Masterclasses focused upon the digital space. There are limited numbers for both masterclasses.

Sharing inspiration, ideas, passion, information and experiences with your fellow fundraising professionals at the NT Forum is a great way to develop your knowledge and skills while expanding your network.

Digital Special Interest Group

FIA SA/NT is launching a new special interest group focused on Marketing, Media and Digital.

The marketplace has been flooded with DIY marketing, media and digital tools in recent years – which do you find are practical, effective, useful and cost-efficient? This is the focus for the new special interest group.

Join this group and discover clever new ways of reaching your KPIs and goals.

This will be an opportunity to share knowledge, tools, resources, and insights into what works for you in the areas of marketing, media and digital.

Please join us to share your thoughts, experiences and knowledge – the aim is to get to know colleagues working in this specialist area of fundraising.

This is a free event, with attendance restricted to FIA Members and Staff of Organisational Members only.

Date: Wednesday 22 April 2020
Time: 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm

This session will move to an online delivery format. Details on how to access the session will be shared soon.

Why Brand is Everyone’s Business

Many organisations – including those in the NFP space – incorrectly think of ‘brand’ as just a ‘marketing thing’ and a cost to the business.

How wrong they are. In this entertaining presentation, Greg Kavanagh, Principal & Director of Branded Culture will help you better understand exactly what a brand is, why it can be a company’s most valuable commercial asset and why everyone is responsible for it in your organisation.

Date: Wednesday 24 June 2020
Time: 1.00pm – 2.00pm AEST (12.30pm SA and 11.00am WA)

This session will be delivered online. Details on how to access the session will be shared soon.

Pricing
Member: $20.00
Staff of Organisational Member: $30.00
Non-Member: $40.00
