Public Attitudes Webinar | Cost of Living Round 4 | Understanding Donor Resilience and Community Impact

Date: 24 July

Australians’ perception of the economic situation is stabilising, yet slightly more people report that they will give less, with the primary reason being the rising cost of living. In contrast, our high-value donors are stepping up and giving more. Join More Strategic as they examine the passion of our most devoted supporters and their willingness to spread our charity’s message. This round, they added a boost to their sample to explore the behaviours of low-level donors and non-donors, providing a deep dive into their similarities, differences, and future considerations. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of donor resilience and community impact in these challenging times.

Reframing Overheads Webinar

Date: 25 July

The “Paying What It Takes” initiative is crucial for our sector, aiming to reframe overheads. Research by Philanthropy Australia, Social Ventures Australia, and The Centre for Social Impact (March 2022) shows that not-for-profits underinvest in critical capabilities due to funders’ reluctance to cover overheads. Philanthropy, government, the public, and media often expect overheads to be minimised or unpaid, yet they are essential for effective operations. A group of passionate fundraising leaders has formed a Charity Consortium to drive this change. Join Lisa Allan FFIA CFRE from The Smith Family and Richenda Vermeulen, CEO of ntegrity, for a webinar on their challenges, learnings, and a practical NFP guide to best practices and recommendations.
