How do I receive an invoice rather pay via card?

  1. Complete the details in the ‘POST A JOB’ icon.
  2. Complete pages 1 and 2 and when you reach the payment stage, click ‘Invoice’.
  3. Click ‘Submit’ at the bottom of the page.
  4. Copy your reference number and exit your posting.
  5. Email members@fia.org.au, including your reference number and mention in your email that you’d like your job converted to complete and to pay via an invoice.
  6. Pay your invoice within the seven day deadline.

Please note that inability to pay your invoice within the seven day deadline, may impact your eligibility for future invoice payments and you may need to pay via card instead.

How long until my job listing goes up on the site?

Your job listing should be up on the site by the COB on the same day you register, or if it’s after 3.30 pm, within one business day. If there are any delays – don’t hesitate to call us on 1300 889 670.

How do I amend a job ad?

If you would like to update your job details, PDF or logo, please send the information and/or files to jobs@fia.org.au and the team will update it for you.

What’s the difference between a feature and standard listing?

A feature listing is on the website for five weeks and on our popular jobs bulletin for five weeks.

The standard is on our website for four weeks and on our jobs bulletin for one week.

What are the benefits of advertising with FIA?

For how long will our advertisement appear?

Standard listings will appear in the jobs bulletin for one week, and on the FIA website for four weeks. Feature listings will appear on the FIA website and jobs bulletin for five weeks.

How do I upload the job ad?

You must register your job by pressing the ‘POST A JOB’ icon on the Jobs Homepage. FIA does not accept email applications.

Who receives the jobs bulletin?

The jobs bulletin is sent out to FIA’s national database of 10,500+ fundraising professionals. Our database is made up of FIA members, people closely associated with FIA and fundraising in Australia. Our database is a concentrated mix of NFP sector workers in leadership, fundraising, marketing and database roles.

What is the open rate?

Our open rate is around 24% and click-through rate averages 3.5%.

Will my job listing be in this week’s job bulletin?

For distribution in Wednesday’s job bulletin email, bookings must be received by 3:30 pm Monday.

What do I need to have ready before posting a job listing?

Please have a jpeg logo of the company you’re advertising and a job description in PDF form.

When does my job listing expire?

You can determine when your job expires, as long as it’s no longer than four weeks if it’s a standard listing, or five weeks if it’s a featured listing.

How do I receive a job invoice?

You can request an invoice via jobs@fia.org.au providing your job reference number in your email. Please refer to the instructions at the top of the page.

What is a reference number?

The reference number is how our jobs team tracks the job listing. It’s visible on the jobs registration form when creating a job listing.

I’m a recruiter advertising on behalf of an organisational member, do I receive the discount?

No. The discount for job advertising is not extended to recruitment agencies, unless the agencies are also organisational members.

What do I need to include in the job listing PDF?

Provide a job description and a link or address for candidates to contact you.

Can FIA send an invoice to someone else that’s not the point of contact listed on the job registration?

We suggest you email jobs@fia.org.au, requesting an invoice after providing the reference number. We will then send you the invoice, which you can then forward the person you want to send the invoice to.

Do I need to login to upload a job?

You do not need to login. To get started, you just need to press ‘Post A Job’. FIA staff checks to see if you are a member, if you have selected that option.

Can FIA edit the PDF/job description I provided?

FIA can not edit PDFs. If you would like to update the PDF/job description, please send the updated PDF to jobs@fia.org.au – outlining your request. We will then upload the updated PDF to our site, replacing the old one.

I can’t see my job listing on the Jobs Homepage carousel – where has it gone?

Only featured jobs stay on the top carousal for the duration of the listing. You can view your job listing by pressing the ‘View jobs’ button, which is on the sidebar of the Jobs Homepage.
