FIA acknowledges that data is powerful. To assist us in
advocating more successfully on behalf of our members
and the sector, FIA will champion the collection of
meaningful data on fundraising activity and broader
sector issues.
Having access to fundraising data will help us to
understand what is required in terms of programs and
services that better meet members needs as well as inform
our advocacy efforts. Government – including ministers
and Treasury officials – highly value data and the insights
it can drive; having access to sets of data and insights will
help to advance our arguments for support and other
measures that benefit the sector
