FIA Board and Code Authority Nominations

Interested in taking your passion for the fundraising profession a step further by taking on a leadership role with Fundraising Institute Australia?

Nominations are now open for a Board-appointed Director role for Fundraising Institute Australia and for an FIA member representative on the FIA Code Authority.

Board-appointed Director

We’re looking for passionate, committed fundraisers with experience or interest in governance, who are keen to help lead the organisation into the future.

The FIA Board is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion and in particular, encourages nominations from members from diverse backgrounds to nominate.

Interested in future leadership but not sure you are ready to join the Board? Opportunities also exist with Board committees and State committees as a pathway to gaining more experience. Contact Katherine Raskob CEO at kraskob@fia.org.au for a confidential chat.

Member Representative on FIA Code Authority Committee

The FIA Code Authority is responsible for the effective operation and administration of the FIA Code. We know from our long history as the peak body for charitable fundraising – that the sector needs a strong, independent, and credible body to administer the Code in the interests of improving donor care and ensuring donor trust, confidence, and support for charitable giving and the charitable fundraising sector.

Ideally, we’d like a candidate experienced in upholding the Code who may have worked in the supplier/service side of the sector.

For more information and how to apply, contact Dr. Jonathan Ande, Policy Advisor jande@fia.org.au for a confidential chat. Nominations close at 8 pm AEST on 6 October 2023.
