Call for FIA Fellows and Emeritus Nominations

Fundraising Institute Australia promotes excellence in fundraising by acknowledging and supporting its members as they aspire to be the best fundraising professionals they can be.

Nominations are now open for election as a Fellow of FIA and for election to the status of Emeritus Member of FIA.

Our professional honours system recognises distinguished service of those who uphold the very highest best-practice and ethical standards of fundraising and have made a significant contribution to the sector.

Election as a Fellow of FIA or Emeritus Fellow are professional honours only awarded following intense peer review and careful consideration by the FIA Board.

Please download and complete the relevant nomination form and submit to members@fia.org.au by 30 August 2023.

Nominations will be considered by the Fellows Nominations Committee and the Board of Directors and put forward to be elected by members at FIA’s Annual General Meeting to be held in February 2024.

Members who have been elected Fellow of FIA are entitled to use the FFIA designation.

Call for nominations for election as an Emeritus member

Election to the status of Emeritus member of FIA recognises and celebrates significant member achievements during their career. It is awarded to former longstanding Regular, Executive or Fellow members of FIA who have retired after long and active participation in fundraising.

Emeritus Members are entitled to use the FFIA or MFIA (Emeritus) designation after their name to highlight their significant achievements in fundraising
