In this course, you will learn about the role of data in your organisation and understand how regulation governs personal data that may be used. Through a combination of presentations, case studies and class discussions, you will explore how privacy relates to business risk in the donor journey. You will also cover how your organisation can anticipate and be adaptable for future change.
Full participation in Safeguarding Donor Privacy and Data is applicable for up to 7.5 continuing education points in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.

Richard is a passionate advocate for the use of data to drive customer experience and helping businesses unlock the value from their data assets and ensuring data is well managed and governed appropriately. Richard has a Master’s in Marketing Management from Macquarie University’s Graduate School of Management and lives in the Blue Mountains of Sydney.
