Donor Journey Mapping
|All states||Face-to-face or online|
This one-day course focuses on how fundraising organisations can develop donor journeys for their organisation. Bringing together the principles of customer journeys, you will cover the theory of customer journeys and how they can be used to drive great fundraising outcomes. You will create your own personal and customer journey for your donors and participate in a hands-on construction of a donor/customer journey, working in groups to create an assumptive donor/customer journey map in class.
The course has been updated to make great use of virtual learning tools – instead of post-it notes and flip-charts in the classroom, we will use virtual breakout rooms, shared templates and shared whiteboards via Zoom to work on a donor journey suited to your role and organisation. We will also look at the journey through a number of lenses – the journey during shutdown, and the journey post shutdown – looking at changes in behaviour and potential changes to marketing strategy.
