Certificate in Professional Fundraising

This course provides you with a comprehensive foundation in learning about every channel of fundraising and how to generate sustainable revenue streams. You will learn various models of fundraising practice, how to develop fundraising plans, how to create a a case for support, methods of acquiring and retaining donors, and how to nurture relationships for high value donations. You will also learn about practical, useful tools to fundraise ethically in an everchanging fundraising landscape. This course is comprised of compulsory and elective modules.

Full participation in Certificate in Professional Fundraising is applicable for up to 59 continuing education points in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
Heiko has extensive experience in developing and executing strategic marketing, major gifts fundraising and corporate partnership programs. He has previously worked across health, medical research, educational, community, and charitable organisations throughout Australia. Heiko holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance Investment and a Graduate Certificate in Social Impact. Heiko has been a Fellow of the Fundraising Institute Australia and has represented Western Australia on the State Executive since 2010.
An activist at heart, Maisa is an experimental marketer. Her vision is to be a social change agent at a global level. Maisa is an expat Brazilian who moved to Sydney, Australia, in 2003. She is a life-long learner and has a bachelor degree in Graphic Design, formal qualifications in Website Development, Multimedia, Marketing & Business and in Fundraising Data.
Bianca has had over a decade’s experience in the non-profit sector and is passionate about creating positive change through inspiring people to be more philanthropic. In 2012 she was awarded the inaugural FIA Young Fundraiser of the Year and was a finalist in the Global Fundraiser of the Year.
Bianca is an enthusiastic fundraiser who holds the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) accreditation. She believes small charities can have a big impact in the world and runs a coaching and consulting business, Fish Community Solutions, as well as the Small Non-Profits Alliance to support them achieve their goals.
