Scholarships available for emerging and experienced not-for-profit leaders
These initiatives mark the most significant round of leadership scholarships in ASF’s history, with the organisation supporting 70 emerging and experienced not-for-profit leaders from around Australia in their leadership journeys in 2020.
The Young Leaders Forum gives participants the necessary skills, thinking and insights to become a better leader in a world of rapid disruptive change, by maintaining a radical focus on what is within their control.
Held in May and August over several weeks, the forum benefits high potential future leaders with around seven to 12 years of work experience. It focuses on experiential learning with group discussions and also empowers participants to coach each other so they can replicate the exercises in their teams. With its focus on strengths and stretch, the forum develops inspirational and supportive leaders.
The Executive Leadership Program is a practical leadership development program that develops self-aware leaders who have the capability and conviction to lead in this age of complexity and disruption. The program accelerates the development of senior talent by increasing self-awareness, exploring topics with a diverse faculty of leaders and coaches, and personalising insights within groups of external peers.
Over a six-month blended learning journey, executives build their knowledge of technologies and trends and how to leverage them in their organisations, sharpen and expand their leadership skills and cultivate an exclusive global network of peers. The program starts in June 2020.
Applications close at 5.00 pm AEDT on 10 February for the Young Leaders Forum, and on 12 February for the Executive Leadership Program.
